Copenhagen 20/5 2020. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Webshop. Black and yellow can with a very detailed rendering of a goat’s head.
Pours opaque, milky, hazy yellow with s medium-sized white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong, lightly fermented odor of exotic fruit and strong citric notes. Mango and papaya with a hint of decay. Grape fruit and citrus fruit,.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a strong sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while.
Light but satisfying DIPA finding a balance between the fermented and the fresh, the sweet and the bitter.

Pours a hazy yellow with soft, fluffy head.
Smell is juicy and grassy, with notes of citrus, mango and peach, along with some earthy notes.
Taste is juicy and slightly sweet. Notes of mango, grass, dank melon and peaches with a solid bitterness and a hint of earthness. No hop burn and no hint of booze.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy, well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice DIPA, would be superb if they could lose the earthy hints.
