Copenhagen 13/2 2021. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Apex’s usual can design in somber grey and a Eagle chick as a poster animal.
Pours opaque, hazy pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet odor of exotic fruit mingling with citric scents. Passion fruit, peach and pineapple. Citrus and lime.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a tart, sour bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is fairly dry.
As always a zesty Indian Pale Ale from Apex.
