Copenhagen 28/6 2021. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Cream-colored can in Apex' usual design with Sea Eagle grappling with a fish (doing arithmetics).
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a nearly as strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Finish is bitter and fairly dry.
Quite on the sweet side without being overly boozy.
