Copenhagen 14/5 2023. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Apex' usual design with flat orange can and a wolf's head and a bundle of bank notes as motif.
Pours opaque, hazy yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as 1 cm thick, fluffy layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruit mingling with an acerbic, citric scent. Peach, pineapple and Passion fruit. Grapefruit and lemon. Sharp, aggressive.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while into a dry finish.
Pleasant with a fine balance leaning to the bitter side. Good one.

Pours a hazy orange with fluffy head.
Smell is juicy and a bit herbal with notes of gummy candy, pineapple, orange and melon.
Taste is juicy and bit herbal with a soft bitterness. Very hoppy with notes of gummy candy, melon, pineapple and grapes with some sweet hints.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy with good carbonation.
Overall, a very nice NE IPA, reminds me a bit of Focal Banger.
