Copenhagen 14/1 2022. 44 cl can from Din Øl web-shop (dinol.dk). Orange can In Apex' usual design with a pigs head with bat's wing. And here I thought that Baphomet was into Goats heads and such things.
Pours opaque orange with a midsized, frothy white head Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly internee with sweet fermented odor of decaying tropical fruit mingling with an aggressive citric scent. Peach and apricots. Grapefruit and citrus. Hints of French mustard.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet and boozy undertone. Lingering. Finish is fairly dry.
Powerful and potent DIPA - but with a delicate balance between the sweet booziness and the citric bitterness.
