Copenhagen 24/11 2024. 44 cl can from Kihoskh Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Apex' usual can design in light greenish yellow with a bird armed with a Tomahawk as poster animal.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as 2,5 cm thick layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, slightly fermented odor of overripe tropical fruits mingling with a tart scent of citrus fruit and berries. Peach and mango. Alcohol. Grapefruit and tart gooseberries.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, light tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.
Flavorful and potent.
