Finally a new IPA jam packed with the juiciest Motueka hops we could find. What? Not a thing? Then we misread the room severely because Tidal Surge IPA is saturated with Motueka. A Motueka tour de force one could say.
We’ve heard that a lot of people have a hard time getting along with this hop. But we also know that a lot of people are wrong. Full stop.
Fresh citrus, tropical fruits and a tiny bit of that mojito lime character.

Pilsner malt, wheat malt & flaked oats
Hops:
Simcoe T90, Citra T90, Nelson Sauvin T90, Motueka T90 & Kohia Motueka SubZero Hopkief
Yeast:
AEB Fermoale New-E

Pours a hazy light orange with fluffy head.
Smell is fruity and floral with notes of jasmine, citrus, coconut, pineapple and grass.
Taste is fruity and grassy with a moderate bitterness and notes of jasmine, citrus, coconut and pineapple with some floral hints.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice IPA, tropical and modern.
