Retrograde IPA is the latest in our endless line of hazy IPAs. Heavily dry hopped with equal amounts of Citra- and Riwaka hops. The result is a thunderous eruption of sweet, ripe citrus fruits and a tropical storm of juicy mangoes followed by a grapefruity bite.
Cheers!
Malts:
Extra pale ale malt, wheat malt & flaked oats
Hops:
Citra T90, Citra Lupomax & Riwaka T90
Yeast:
AEB Fermoale New-E

Pours a hazy light orange with thick, fluffy head.
Smell is fruity and juicy with notes of peach, peach syrup, apricot and grapes.
Taste is juicy, fruity and dank with notes of melon, peach, peach syrup and citrus with some peppery and spicy hints. Soft bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft, pillowy and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice IPA with great texture.

Copenhagen 1/9 2025. 44 cl can from A Good Case web-shop. Light blue can in Apex' usual design with two industrious rats as poster animals.
Pours opaque hazy. olden yellow with a mid.sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin, unbroken and a bit frothy layer of foam. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of ripe stone fruits mingling with a distinct scent of zesty citrus fruit, Peach and a hint of mango. Tangerine and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, slightly viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a little searing. Lingers for a while, Finish is dry,
Fine smooth and zesty drink.
