Our latest west coast IPA is built on a foundation of pilsner-, rye- and dextrin malts. The bitterness was fine tuned with Columbus hops in the kettle and then we dry hopped Blank Generation IPA heavily with 2024 crop Nelson Sauvin hops from @freestylehops
This bright dank sauce is bursting with tropical splendor; citrus, passion fruit and crushed gooseberries but with just enough bitter snap to tie the whole thing together.
Cheers!
Malts:
Pilsner malt, rye malt & dextrin malt
Hops:
Hot side: Columbus T90 & Nelson Sauvin T90
Cold side: Nelson Sauvin T90 & Citra T90
Yeast:
AEB Fermoale AY4

Pours a hazy yellow with fine, soapy head.
Smell is crisp. fruity and peppery. Notes of grapes, citrus, peach and green tea.
Taste is fruity and peppery with notes of citrus, gooseberries, grapes, passionfruit, grass and tea with a moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a terrific modern west coast IPA.

Copenhagen 6/6 2026. 44 cl can from A Good Case web-shop. A pair of sun glasses hovering on a background of white tiles which reminds me of a bathroom.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable, Settles as a paper thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of stone fruit mingling with a more subdued tart scent of citrus fruit. Peach and nectarine. Sweet and ripe. Subtle notes of lemon and lime.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Finish is dry.
Decent if somehow a bit blank.
