Branch and Blade Brewing

 

 

Your standard brewery-tucked-away-in-the-back-of-an-office-park-at-the-edge-of-town setup. Nice that they have a good place to brew and likely a better option logistically than a cooler spot would be, but necessarily lacking in any atmosphere or vibe or character. Fairly big inside, brewery seems decent sized, a patio and a big outdoor area next to the parking lot. Fairly wide selection of beers and styles, though seems to trend towards hoppy. The IPA I had was pretty solid. Service was good.

 

 

A quaint brewery located at the back of a small industrial park-like area, Branch & Blade had a decent vibe. A large outdoor area (though it was raining when I visited) and a smaller indoor space, B&B is definitely worth checking out. Appropriate COVID measures (if that's your thing) are in place.

 

 

A bit hard to find in a light industry industrial park.

Ample parking is always welcome and they have plenty. A small but nicely laid out and nicely spaced tasting room. Choice of picnic table, barrel tables to stand around, and seating at the bar. Semi-industrial look, but pleasant.

Service was OK. Flight of four, and I questioned one beer. It was supposed to be one of their frappe style IPA and it certainly wasn't, but not worth the argument I could feel coming. So the fourth beer in the flight shall remain a mystery. Overall, the beers in the flight plus one extra were well-made and very clean in flavor.

I hate to knock the service, but there was an incorrect beer in the flight and it should have been changed even if I was wrong. Pictures elsewhere confirm I was not. So minor knock on service.

Give these folks a shot.

 

5/17/18 finally got our second brew house in Keene ! Very good location. Small room but plenty of good energy. Selection is small but of high quality. Suds tender was excellent. Zoe's guest pizza ( nacho pizza) was killer. Had the light saison, NEipa Answer the cosmos and another I dont remember. This is going to be a regular spot for me and my frends.

Very nice new clean taproom with good lighting. A little loud but that can be fixed. Plently of parking and outside tables for use. Food truck was on-site. Knowledgeable and fun staff. Good selection with 7 different beers on tap and 2 different choices of wine. Brought my girlfriend there and we really enjoyed ourselves. Can't wait to go back!
