Drinking this at one of my favorite tap rooms, Tapped in Greenville NC.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Appears golden amber with a nice foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin cap and some nice lacing.
Smells yeasty, funky, peppery.
Taste follows the nose, the pepper builds but never really hot.
Yeast and pepper predominant.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall a nice Saison with Jalapeno, very different and I would definitely order again, but then again, I am a fan of the Saison.

Clear amber color. Minimal lacing around the glass. Jalapeño note. Otherwise disappointing for a saison. No tartness and too heavy bodied for the style.

A: The beer is hazy dark amber yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high off white head that died down a bit but never completely faded away.
S: Moderate aromas of jalepeño peppers are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and and has lots of flavors of jalepeño peppers with just a light amount of associated heat.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I really liked the aromas and flavors of jalepeños in this beer, especially the taste since the seeds must have been removed because there were only slight hints of heat.
Serving type: can

L: Had this beer on-tap at Hopfly, poured into a pint glass. Had a yellow-orange color and a cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Average lacing.
S: An interesting aroma of chili peppers, Belgian yeast, citrus, malt, and spices.
T: Tasted of a fair amount of Belgian-style yeast (present throughout), light malt notes, a ton of jalapeno peppers (quite hot), and some citrus fruit (orange, lemon). This flavor almost borders on being one-note, but for some reason it works. The spiciness of the jalapenos works best with the citrus and the yeast. Pretty tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a warm, sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This beer isn't for everyone, that's for sure, but if you want something different, give it a try. Drinkable.
