Look: It pours black with a dark brown head. Head retention is very good.
Smell: It has strong aromas of coffee and roast. There are medium coconut notes. There are very low dark fruit notes.
Taste: It has a balance of roast, coconut, chocolate and coffee in the flavors. There is a bit of a sweet, sugary element to it. There are very low dark fruit elements.
Feel: It has a silky, smooth texture with a full body. It has a sweet finish with very low bitterness.
Overall, the finish reminds me of a sweet stout ramped up to imperial stout strength. It has a good balance of flavors.
