We brewed this delicious little märzenbier with Epiphany's Ursprung Fest Malt and Weyermann Lite Munich. Fashionably Late is a medium-bodied, malt forward lager that has a distinctive dark orange color and tasting notes of bread and biscuit.

A: Pours a crystal clear medium copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate burnt orange + orange + amber + medium golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy beige head that slowly reduces to a large patch of very thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of toasted + caramel + bready + biscuit malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness underneath light aromas of earthy + herbal hops. Light hints of lager yeast aromas.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of toasted + caramel + bready + biscuit malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by light hints of lager yeast flavors. Finally there is a light flavor of earthy + herbal hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away fairly quickly leaving a relatively clean finish.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth with a relatively clean finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a clean finish. Enjoyable and a nice example of the style. I would definitely grab this one again.

Drinking this at home due to the ongoing pandemic.
Appears clear, golden.
Smells lightly bready, floral.
Tastes bready, Hoppy enough to keep my interest.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall a very nice marzen that is eminently crushable. I would definitely order again.
