The final nod in our Adventure Series of IPAs! This is the brainchild of our main man Jeff, who can usually be found behind the bar at HopFly or, more recently, helping out with our delivery route! Jeff picked a unique trifecta of Amarillo, NZ Cascade, and a Citra hops with the goal of infusing some West Coast elements into this juicy DIPA! We'd call it a success, as we get solid background notes of citrus fruit with some really balanced hits of resin and pine on the nose.

A: Pours a hazy medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate pale orange + apricot + peach + pale golden yellow + bright yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of slightly mottled thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit + citrus/orange + citrus/grapefruit pith + floral hops as well as moderate aromas of pine + dank/resinous hops. There are light to moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + toasted + caramel malts with a moderate amount of caramel sweetness.

T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + toasted + caramel malts with moderate amounts of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit + citrus/orange + citrus/grapefruit pith + floral hops. Finally there are moderate flavors of pine + dank/resinous hops which impart a moderate amount of bitterness which slowly fades away leaving some light to moderate lingering juicy citrus hop flavors.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially slightly crisp with a light to moderate amount of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a light amount of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly refreshing crisp yet soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Very nice combination of classic NEIPA and West Coast IPA hop flavors and aromas makes this one a little different - still a NEIPA but with some West Coast hop profile and a little bitterness which does not fade away quite as quickly.
