FACE DOWN DIPA is another ripper from our Party Series! This big ol' pale DIPA is ripe with hop flavor. A nice combo of hops consisting of Strata, Sabro, and Vic Secret, make this DIPA go down nice and smooth with great hop flavor the whole way through.

A: The beer is very hazy pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly died down, leaving a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of coconut, cream, and mint are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of coconut and pineapple along with notes of passion fruit.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I really enjoyed the aromas and flavors of tropical fruits in this New England-style IPA. The smell and taste was unique given the combination of hops that were used.

A: Pours a milky murky medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright orange + bright yellow + pale honey + apricot colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy white head that slowly reduces to a medium to large sized patch of medium thick film covering a little more than 40% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy tropical/passionfruit + tropical/mango + citrus/grapefruit + stone fruit/peach + coconut hops as well as light to moderate aromas of herbal hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + oat malts with moderate amounts of sugary sweetness.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + oat malts with moderate amounts of sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy tropical/passionfruit + tropical/mango + citrus/grapefruit + stone fruit/peach + coconut hops as well as light to moderate aromas of herbal hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving a moderate amount of tropical + coconut + herbal hop flavors.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of creamy soft/fluffiness mid-body and a light amount of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a very pleasant creamy soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable with very nice tropical + coconut + herbal hop flavors and aromas. Nice use of the Sabro hop and it has good coconut flavors and aromas without approaching suntan lotion.
