The Party Series
We take our favorite IPA hops/techniques every year and brew up a banger, and this year is no exception! Early hop additions include Mosaic and Citra. We bombed the final dry hop with our favorite lot of Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, and a heavy dose of Citra. This IPA has a killer nose and an even more killer taste

A: Pours a murky slightly darker than medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright yellow + pale orange + burnt orange + honey colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy off-white head that very slowly reduces to a large patch of thick film covering approximately 90% of the surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit + citrus/orange + tropical/mango + gooseberry hops over the top of just shy of moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of sugary sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit + citrus/orange + tropical/mango + gooseberry hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving moderate citrus + gooseberry hop flavors lingering.
M: Slightly lighter than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of creamy soft/fluffy mid-body and a light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a very pleasantly creamy soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable with a combination of some of my favorite hops which bring great gooseberry + citrus + tropical hop flavors and aromas. Definitely one I could bring again and again.

Drinking this at my favorite tap house in Greenville NC.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Appears Hazy golden yellow with a foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin ring and nice lacing.
Smells lightly bready, citrusy, vanilla.
Taste follows the nose nicely.
Mouth feel is medium light for the style.
Overall a very nice hazy IPA that I would definitely order again.
