We have been cranking some tasty diverse milk stouts out for you this fall season. LITTLE TROUBLE is the little brother to BIG BIG TROUBLE, one of our favs of all time! All the bold stout flavors you love with some nice coffee and hazelnut to round it out. Luckly the ABV on this one is low enough that you can enjoy more than one and not get into any big trouble :)

A: Pours an opaque yet still clear jet black in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate chestnut brown + dark cola brown colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall creamy sudsy foamy tan head that slowly reduces to a medium sized patch of medium thick film covering about 40% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering about 70% of the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of roasty + caramel + toasted + chocolate malts with a moderate amount of lactose sweetness. Moderate aromas of hazelnut + coffee. Light aromas of earthy hops.
T: Upfront there are moderate to strong flavors of roasty + caramel + toasted + chocolate malts with a moderate amount of lactose sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of hazelnut + coffee. Finally there is a light amount of earthy hops. Light to moderate amounts of roasty bitterness which fade away leaving moderate lingering hazelnut + coffee flavors.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth and creamy with a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly creamy mouthfeel. Enjoyable old school style milk stout with hazelnut and coffee. Definitely would have this one again and hope they continue more and more in this series.
