A: Pours an opaque yet still clear jet black in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and faint dark chestnut brown + dark amber + dark golden yellow colored highlights. Then beer has a three finger tall foamy tan head that reduces to a large patch of slightly mottled thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of sweetened peanut butter (like in a peanut butter cup) and milk chocolate over the top of moderate aromas of roasted + caramel + toasted malts with just shy of moderate amounts of lactose sweetness. Light aromas of caramel.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of roasted + caramel + toasted malts with just shy of moderate amounts of lactose sweetness. That is followed by lighter flavors of caramel as well as moderate to strong flavors of peanut butter + milk chocolate. Finally there are hints of earthy hops. Very light amounts of roasty bitterness which fades away quickly leaving moderate lingering milk chocolate + peanut butter flavors.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly smooth albeit lighter mouthfeel. Enjoyable with lots of peanut butter, chocolate, and caramel but not overly sweet or cloying.
