When the dust settles and the reign of the earth is over, there may stand only cockroaches, mosquitos and hazy IPA. Although we can't do much about those first two options, HopFly is doing their part with the later.
With a cloudy golden appearance, Endless Reign brings a frothy white cap and a citrusy, vinous and spicy scent of herbs and bright fruit. A dry sweetness of honeycomb, shortbread and honeysuckle provides a smooth, malty and cereal base taste ahead of a hoppier middle palate of orange, pink grapefruit and lemon. Passionfruit, nectarine and grape complete the fruit cocktail on its way to an herbal bitterness to close. Verbena, hemp, sassafras and tea leaf add lasting impressions in a medium-length aftertaste.
Medium bodied, malty-dry and slighlty more bitter than sweet, the IPA is a refreshing but flavorful hazy ale meant to survive the times.
