Sharkskin is another sneaky TIPA. This beer is a big IPA with a soft side. A mighty dose of Idaho #7, and a dash of Galaxy make this beer an easy drinker with a nice creamy mouthfeel and full tropical hop bouquet.

A: Pours a milky murky pale mango yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate pale yellow + pale orange + burnt orange + pale golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of very thin film covering the entire surface of the beer surrounded by a large thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Just shy of heavy aromas of juicy tropical/mango + tropical/passionfruit + tropical/papaya + tropical/pineapple + stone fruit/peach hops over the top of moderate aromas of biscuit + oat + wheat + pale malts with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of sugary sweetness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit + oat + wheat + pale malts with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of sugary sweetness. That is followed by just shy of strong flavors of juicy tropical/mango + tropical/passionfruit + tropical/papaya + tropical/pineapple + stone fruit/peach hops which impart a minimal amount of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving moderate lingering tropical hop flavors.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light to moderate amounts of creamy soft/fluffiness mid-body with a light to moderate amount of dryness in the finish. Hints of slickness. Light alcohol warming in the finish.
O: Drinks very easily considering the strength/intensity and the well hidden alcohol with a decent albeit not quite as creamy mouthfeel I was hoping for. Enjoyable tropical hop profile and just a hint of hop burn/astringency.
