16oz can. No dating information found.
Black colored body, with a very thin dark brown back lit edge. Two fingers of light tan head upon pouring into the glass, and this eventually falls back to a few islands, a minor surface storm, and a thin ring. No lacing.
Aroma of dark roasted malts, chocolate, and a bit of dark roast coffee.
Taste is a basic stout - with flavors of dark roasted malt with a sweet touch, and secondary flavors of dark chocolate and dark roast coffee. Malts have a bit of a burnt character, and this is the source of limited bitterness. Long run out of all flavors in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel; this is no motor oil thick stout. There is sweetness here to balance out with any dark roast bitterness. Good carbonation.
Very decent basic American style stout. Good for pairing with savory foods.

Look: It pours very dark brown with a tan head. Head retention is very good.
Smell: It has a combination of choclate and roast leaning towards the chocolate side. There are some very low dark fruits in the background.
Taste: In the flavor there are more roasted elements than chocolate with a slight burnt background flavors. There are also very low dark fruits.
Feel: It has a smooth texture with a moderately bitter finish.
Overall: A nice drinking beer with plenty of roast.
