Draft pour into a pint glass.
Dark orange amover appearance with a moist off white head. Dank, piney, bitter, citrus notes. Medium to thick body, medium carbonation, creamy mouthfeel.

Meh, poorly executed example of the style. Hop flavor is muted, overpowering malt taste. Not digging this. So many other local brews that are actually enjoyable.

I’m not a beer expert but I love trying new beer anytime I see one and I enjoyed this one so much I don’t think I’ll be switching until Long Beach Brewing comes out with a new one!

New brewery here on LI, Long Beach Brewing Company, and this is their first commercial release, Ghost Wave IPA (7.1%) featuring Azzaca and Calypso hops...
Not easy to follow Grimm's Tom Tom and Barrier's Bury the Stash, but this beer's doing just fine... Deep gold color with a light haze... Interesting hop profile; has an almost savory character - woody and herbal with an undertone of mildly sweet fruit, hints of cedar? Some pine and resin shellac with a rich pith providing some tang of orange and citrus... Smooth, it leaves a little bit of a bitter coat on the tongue (kinda West coast-ish?)... Gotta say, I'm really enjoying it... Hope this is auspices well for the brewery... Looks like a 4/29 can release based on their Facebook account... Can says it was brewed and canned by Oyster Bay Brewing Company for Long Beach Brewing Company...
Cheers...
