Being brewed again as of 2023.
Pours a hazy rustic copper color with a one finger eggshell white head of foam. Laces the glass well with good head retention.
Aroma of pineapple puree and sweet lemon frosting with a touch of bitter orange. Some banana way in the background as it gets closer to room temperature.
On the palate, flavors of fresh peaches with notes of savory mango. Has a waxy, peppery, grapefruit pith / apricot skin like taste to even things out mid palate giving the beer a gentle bitterness. Chewy notes of caramel and a warm, soothing underlying alcoholic bite from the ABV on the finish.
Bittersweet / savory. Rich body with low carbonation.
Solid NEIPA that borders on imperial territory. Nice focus on peach / mango flavors with a healthy malt bill and a soothing alcoholic nip on the tail end that doesn't impart any unpleasant booziness. This is a "winter warmer" kind of NEIPA in my opinion, very hearty and filling on a cold day.
