Look: Pours a golden shade of yellow. Slightly opaque, with low-moderate carbonation visible through the glass. Generates a one finger, satin white head of foam that laces the glass moderately.
Aroma: Slightly spicy / sweetened homestyle biscuits. Mostly malty and honey like with a touch of delicate spicy spruce sap on the tail end. Very slightly fruity with notes of fresh apple juice.
Taste: Bright and clean. Fresh picked green garden herbs (italian parsley) with notes of very gentle spruce sap, but not to the level of an IPA. Notes of raw honeycomb. Well balanced. A hint of fresh red apple on the end of the taste. Finishes slightly dry with a gentle bittersweet note of more raw honeycomb and parsley.
Feel: Mid weight body with low-mid levels of carbonation. Slightly thick to the palate, but not so heavy as to be unusual for the style. Relatively sessionable and very thirst quenching.
Overall: I happened to enjoy this. A solid beer.
