1420 is a Belgian-focused bar, but still has other options, and tastings of some very rare and sought after beers.
Vibe is laid back and pub-like. I've only been here outside of peak rush, but I think the vibe would still be pretty calm.
Quality and selection are both top notch. The taps, of which there are six, I believe, rotate frequently with everything from house beers, to Belgians and local stuff. Mostly sour stuff, it seems. Bottle list is amazing, with all the coveted Belgian sours you could imagine. Not cheap, but these things rarely are.
Service is very good, once again, when I've been here there has been plenty of time to chat, which the guys are allways willing to do. The knowledge and insight behind the bar is damn impressive as well.
Overall, 1420 is a great bar, especially if you're after sours.
