On tap at brewery:
A lovely amber brown body is clear enough to let highlights of amber through. The head is a tad soapy, but resilient, even if my glass didn’t feel the need to commemorate it.
Nose is a nice caramel to floral honey sweet malt with a lightly earthy check. Taste has a mildly syrupy sweetness to its malt-forward nature, but the feel doesn’t comply with this. It’s a medium-ish body beer, but clean. And it dies clean up well with a neutral to slightly earthy bitter counter that constrains the beer and doesn’t overtake it.
Might be a tad sweet in the end, but it isn’t far off considering this is a malt-forward style.
