Archetypal trickster and all-round sly guy, Reynard the Fox, was so popular in France that the French word for fox was duly adapted to match the eponymous anthropomorphised canid. In anticipation of the success of this funky pale we'd like to propose that henceforth the category of 'funky pale' is known solely as Reynard. Seem reasonable? Expect lots of funky character with strong notes of banana and clove perfectly paired with the pineapple, mango, tropical and stone fruit flavours of BRU-1 and Styrian Wolf. Not what you were expecting to hear? That’s Reynard, tricksy little fox!

On cask at Terminus.

Pours a semi clear amber with fine head.

Smell is fruity and a bit yeasty with notes of apricot, banana and citrus.

Taste is fruity and yeasty with some estry hints. Notes of apricot, banana, citrus and cloves with a soft bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.

Overall, a very interesting little pale ale, sort of a cross between Belgian and English.
