L- It closely resembles a Coke, or a Long Island Iced Tea. both in colour and in having a very fleeting head. Except that it pours with a slight haze.
S- Stunningly light for a 9%, I just seem to get some mild malts.
T- Woah! Mega-malty and caramel notes! And then a blast of ABV% licking across my palate.
F- Rich and rounded, then that lick of ABV% - it reminds me of a well doused sherry trifle in the rich/rounded vs ABV contrast.
O- To me it's arguably un-subtle but would make a welcome slow-sipping beer on a winter's night. If you are the kind of drinker who holds that high ABV% should be 'Seen (on the lable) but not heard (on your palate)' then this one risks being a bit rowdy for you.
I'm certainly enjoying experiencing this one but it is a bit more of a blunt weapon than I'm likely to repeat buy.
440ml can BB: 27/10/2022 Bought from TremblingMadness/York as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
