L- Almost black though a torch shows it is seriously clouded by sediment - despite being well rested and poured with care. Pours with a 2mm tan head.
S- Notable citrus, around the grapefruit point on that spectrum.
T- Citrus, then very hoppy-bitter. I find myself closing my eyes, swallowing then taking a deep breath. The citrus is waaay too prominent for me. I think it might have a smoke/charred aspect into the finish but even that seems subsumed under the grapefruit etc blast here.
F- Notably hoppy-dry such that you can feel the brush of numbness across your lips - whilst at the same time having some compensation from a strong taste^
O- 'Too clever by half' comes to mind. Might appeal to younger folk with a taste for a challenge and the unorthodox. Not one I'd drink again.
440ml can Canned 30/11/2020 BBE: 30/05/2021 Bought from TremblingMadness/York for home delivery. Contains barley, wheat and oats.
