I had the privilege of trying this beer before it was released. I’m an investor in the brewery, and the former marketing head is the owner of my favorite beer store. He and I visited the brewery one day in December of 18 and we tried this beer, right before they canned it for the first time. It is an excellent chocolate stout. Sweet, malty, roast, and a bit of smokiness. Big, full bodied, and boozy. A bit of thick syrupyness. Going to have to chill it to see if that takes away the thick syrupyness. A great fall evening beer. Going to have to try it by a fire at some point.

Light head, nice dark color, aroma slight hint of Cocoa Puffs, a little sweet on the back end, not boozy for the ABV rating.
Nice fall Imperial Stout.

Had this on tap at the brewery. This is an imperial milk stout the comes in at 10.3%. Very dark black look,. The smell is chocolate and dark roast malt. The taste is a lot of chocolate up front and a lot of sweetness. The mouthfeel is a little thin. Overall this beer really hides the alcohol very well but is a little too sweet for me.
