Aroma is fresh raspberries and mild cake/short cake. The flavor is big berries/raspberries, malts, fruit and a long and slightly dry/tart/sweet finish.

What I am about to write surprised me as much as it will you: this is the best raspberry fruit beer I have had in recent memory, if not ever. Smell and taste are tart, juicy, full and sweet raspberry. The tart is just a kiss, keep it firmly in the fruit and field beer category. You can just smell and taste the skin and the inside berry fruit. Could argue the feel could be a little less sugary, but whatever. Deep violet tinted red appearance with pinkish foam and lacing only adds to the appeal. Give it a try if you want a great fruit beer!
