I tried a glass of this beer at the brewery. It poured a dark clear amber with egg shell head that did not leave much lace. The scent had rich malt and subtle bourbon/scotch notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with nice caramel malt base and smooth whiskey like finish. The mouthfeel was medium in body with even carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
