Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at the brewery 3/14/24 on the way back from the Panhandle.
A: Nice light gold, 1/2 finger of white creamy head but fades quickly. Good visible carbonation and only mildly hazy.
S: As it should. Mildly floral and spicy hops, biscuit malts. No pilsner character on the nose. Not a huge nose but pleasant.
T: Nice delicate malt flavor, balanced by floral and herbal hops. Maybe a bit of grassy and vegetal as well. A mild caramel character in the malts and ends near-balanced on the finish.
M: Body is heavier than the Kolsch I just had, but not a "thick" beer. Carbonation is a little creamy but adequate. Alcohol flavors are low.
O: Enjoyable beer, though I don't know that I like it quite as well as the recently-drank Kolsch. I am relatively inexperienced with the style, but I did happily drink this one!
