Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at the brewery 3/14/24 on the way home from a panhandle vacation.
Served in a wide nonic pint glass.
A: Light gold in color. Mildly hazy - hazier than it should be. Good amount of carbonation, and a thin white head fades fairly quickly.
S: Muted here, but that's not out of style. Mild cracker malts and hop bitterness. Certainly not a big aroma.
T: Light cracker malts - pilsner character is obvious, but near-zero sulfur character (notable in a Kolsch). Mild noble / herbal hop presence with some grassy or vegetal bitterness. Finish leans towards malty but is near-balanced.
M: Light body, low alcohol, good carbonation.
O: This is lightly hopped and "in-style" for a Kolsch. Not typically my favorite style, but I'm glad I tried this one. Solid Kolsch.
