American Wild Ale/Flanders Oud Bruin
Dark brown with a tawny reddish highlight, thin cap of tan foam.
Complex aromas of wet wood, apple butter, red wine, and fruity acidity.
Tastes much the same, woody tannins, vinous acidity, and a light Brett funk meld well with a smooth malty base.
Moderately tart and medium bodied, savory and very dry in the finish. One of the better beers at Edmund's Oast.
