Appearance: Arrives tea colored with an impressive cap that dots the glass
Smell: Caramel, blackberry and the double barrel treatment of Cognac and red wine; hint of char
Taste: Tart blackberry with caramel undertones; through the middle the double barrel treatment takes over, perhaps a bit too pronounced, but the Cognac and red wine flavors are very prominent; a touch a chat in the aftertaste
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate to high carbonation; very Belgian
Overall: With a little tweaking to bring out the underlying flavors and dial back the barrels this would be superb; as It is it is quite good
