Session India Pale Ale brewed with 100% Idaho 7 hops.

Singular, with its light golden hue and round body, exhibits bright notes of mango and fresh pine forest, finishing with a touch of drying papaya skin & eucalyptus.

Hoppier than your average Pale Ale, while lighter in alcohol than your typical IPA, Singular explores the Session IPA spectrum by providing copious amounts of hop flavor and aroma in a sessionable format.

Clear golden pour. World class head volume, lacing and retention.

Quite outstanding nose of citrus zest, pineapple, tangerine, mandarin orange.

Medium body with a silky feel plus aspects of creaminess. World class carbonation / body balance.

The flavor profile is outstanding but lacks the depth implied by the nose. Bitterness is on the high end of moderate and is zest with a touch of pine. Light citrus flavors, mostly orange. This brew is almost absent of any sweetness and consequently comes across as primarily bitter. Zest lingers in the finish.

Got in a BIF from Dragginballs76. 16 ounce can into pint glass, no can dating. Pours moderately hazy pale golden/yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, wood, mint, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, wood, mint, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, wood, mint, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is an excellent session IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the modestly bitter/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome Idaho 7 showcase. Very vibrant, dank, earthy, and fairly juicy hop complexity; nice pale/wheat malt backbone for the ABV. No residual sweetness from crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and great style example.

16oz tallboy can, free media sample from the brewery.

Pale yellow colored brew, thin white lacing leaves a bit on the glass. Light and fluffy, could be considered a Pale Ale but it is a nice showcasing of the Idaho 7 hop. Good amount of bittterness, lots of herbal and exotic fruit flavors that bounce off of the cracker-like maltiness. Dry finish and very drinkable.

A: Pours a crystal clear pale golden yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate bright yellow + straw yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall fizzy foamy bright white head that reduces to a large patch of thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit, herbal, and tropical/papaya hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of cereal grain malts with a slight amount of grainy sweetness.

T: Upfront there is a light flavor of cereal grain malts with a slight amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by just slightly less than moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit, herbal, and tropical/papaya hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which does not linger for too long.

M: Light bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a hint of dryness in the finish. Slightly thin/watery.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol but a touch thin in the mouthfeel for me - there are some folks making session IPAs that do not feel quite so watery. Enjoyable with a pleasant highlighting of Idaho 7 hops.
