Pours a clear honey color with no head, visible head or lacing. Smells of sweet malt, citrus, coconut and booze. Tastes of orange, orange peel, coconut, vanilla, sweet malts, honey, booze and vanilla. Medium bodied, light carbonation, syrupy mouth feel.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Edmund's Oast, poured into a snifter glass. Had an amber / gold color and a mostly clear consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Average lacing.
S: An interesting aroma of malt, citrus fruit, booze, caramel, lactose, and coconut.
T: Tasted of a small amount of lactose (not a big factor), lots of citrus fruit (orange, in particular), some coconut notes), a definite booziness (not overly obnoxious), a bit of caramel, and some malt (present throughout). This is one of those flavors that grows on you. The citrus gives it an unusual quality, but also a new kind of dynamism.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a syrupy finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A slightly unusual, yet likable, barleywine. Drinkable.
