Pours a murky reddish amber with a half inch pale reddish white head that left nice lacing. Smells of mildly sour fruit, lactic acid, yeast and a bit of malt. Tastes of tart mango, underripe strawberries, tart blueberries, yeast, lactic acid and some sweet malt in the background. Light bodied, well carbonated, moderate tartness, dry finish.

From a 16 oz can at Gold Star Beer Counter in Brooklyn, NY. The bar had just received a shipment of this and the bartender was nice enough to pour a generous amount out for everyone sitting at the bar to try.
Light amber and cloudy. Aroma was heavy on the lactic acid. Very fruity flavor with mangoes and berries coming through. Strawberry is a very hard fruit to convey through a beer and this was no exception. Acidic finish.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Edmund's Oast, poured into a snifter glass. Had a reddish / orange color and a very cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Above average lacing.
S: A pretty good aroma of strawberries (of course), tropical fruit, malt, yeast, and citrus fruit.
T: Tasted of a bit of malt (mostly in the finish), a little citrus fruit (orange, in particular), light yeast notes, a lot of strawberries (quite sweet), and some tropical fruit (mango). A sweet, sour, and lively flavor. It's not quite as tart as some beers of the style, but has a nice subtlety to it. Tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a lively finish. Light-bodied.
O: A solidly made sour ale. Worth a try.
