Brown color nice beige head. Thick, proper brown ale. Noticeable maltiness but not overbearingly so. Certainly the coffee is prevalent in it's dark somewhat bitter characteristic dark chocolate taste. The vanilla shows up a bit here, though the maple is a bit subdued aside from a slight aromatic tinge.

1/21/21, BIBCO stemware

Dark brown, almond colored head, 1 finger, no lace.

Aroma of oily and peppery coffee, maple, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, and nutty brown malt.

Flavor brings maple, coffee, vanilla, slight broccoli stem, and caramel. Hints of brown sugar. A very tasty beer. A nice nutty brown malt presence pops up underneath.

Feel is medium bodied, roasty, semi-dry, semi-alcoholic, with a crisp finish.

Overall a really nice beer. I'll probably pick up a 4 pack next time.

Looks awful - My first can has so many odd floaters is ridiculous; especially considering this can is barely one month old. Color is a bit off too, has more of an amber body than dark brown....just my opinion.

Smells much more in line with a brown ale....reminiscent of Bells Best with some maple/honey/cream notes.

Taste follows the nose well. Retains brown characteristics while the additives help elevate above base brown beer. Do get some maple/cream/vanilla. Not the highest echelon of brown ales though.

A good amount (almost too much) of carbonation for a brown.

Overall - If I was blindfolded or poured into a mug or plastic cup this beer would rate higher.

L: dark brown, not much head or lacing, lots of carbonation
S: coffee and milk sugar
T: follows the nose
F: lighter bodied than I hoped, way too carbonated for the style
O: not a bad beer, let it warm up

On tap at the Beer Station in SC.
Slightly hazy brown body with a decent tan head.
Coffee, bread and faint boiled greens.
Unfortunately, the vegetative aspect comes out clearly in the flavor despite a significant amount of coffee. Maple is MIA.
