Poured a black body with minimal head and no lace. The aroma is slightly boozy and has notes of honey. The beer is thick yet smooth, has a nutty dryness that is balanced from mild honey sweetness and finishes easy. Not exactly an easy sipper but it's not too heavy or cloying and the ABV is well-hidden.

L: Very obscure dark brown color with minimal tan head. Looks like a delicious fresh-brewed coffee might. Stan lacing, though not super distinct.
S: Roasty notes of nuts, tobacco, molasses, and indistinguishable malt scents.
T: Boozy but not overwhelmingly so. They've done a nice job hiding it. Classic full body imperial stout flavors up front, all malt, nutty, molasses. Warmth from the alcohol.
F: Not as viscous a mouthfeel as the most high gravity stouts... more like an imperial porter. Still, delicious and full bodied enough
Worth trying! I enjoyed this beer, but it didn't have the mouthfeel or deep flavor profile of the finest imperial stouts.
