Picked up a 16 oz single 2-21-23 from the Appalachian Vintner in Asheville for $5.22. Canned 1-26-23; consumed 9-29-23. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured hazy chilled orange with a nice white head.
Nose is very nice as an explosion of sticky sweet oranges greets me.
Taste is a large, sweet malt base that is hopped with orange, lemon, and peach forward hops. Finishes sweeter than hoped; 5/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is large bodied and very smooth.
Overall this drinks like an old school double IPA with the big malts and big hops give a big flavor that is pleasurable.
