A collaboration with Orpheus Brewing of Atlanta. A hazy barely translucent brown with ruby highlights. Normal pour yields a minuscule head, partial ring and islands. Scant lacing.
Rich malt, fig, apple, toffee, melon, spice cake aromas.
Ginger, tobacco, caramel, light nutty note, bread, melon, butter scotch flavors deepen as it warms.
Coating viscous slight sweetness pivots to a dryer bitter sensation across the tongue. Light carbonation, barely perceptible 11% ABV until most of the glass is consumed.
The flavors unfold if you can take the time to savor them. A worthy collaboration from these brewers.
