Appearance: A slow moving bubble show builds the head to two fingers perched above the cloudy golden liquid; strong retention and clumpy lacing

Smell: Dank orange tones predominate with mango and berry elements supporting

Taste: Dank from the outset with bitter orange flavors; mango and berry flavors add some sweetness but the middle and the finish bring a return of the pithy bitterness

Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate to high carbonation

Overall: The West Coast invades New England and it works well

If a bee did nothing but harvest pollen from hops, its' honey would taste like this, with a shot of alcohol thrown in. Packs a punch, as the 10% ABV would suggest. Great for when you can only have one and want it to count but, beware, nothing you drink afterwards will have much taste. It might be a worthwhile trade-off.

This is a substantial beer. Poured from a can into a tulip glass. Murky golden yellow with nice head and good curtain lacing. Pleasant citrus and pineapple upside down cake smell and taste. Honey and vanilla. Orange, caramel. Thick, heavy and boozy but in a comforting way. This beer is good for a nice treat.

5 oz pour at Loda

Hazy not juicy blonde color with a lasting half finger of head

Hefty floral aroma with mandarin orange, cherry, orange blossom, and diesel.

Flavor is orange cream sickle, vanilla, muscat, white wine, strawberries in vast quantities, and mango or peach I can't decide. You can't drink this too fast. Let it sit in your mouth like a barleywine.

Feel is slick, mildly oily, hot (appropriate here), and moderately sandpaper-y on the finish.

Overall, not sure what the heck the other reviewers thought about it but this was a fucking knockout to me!
