16 oz. can. Clear amber. Smells of toasty malts and pine. Tastes much the same. Toasted malts, hinting toward sweetness but never getting there, with some grapefruit and pine hops. Aggressively bitter, medium light, and very drinkable. It's hard to call it an ESB, because it's aggressively hopped. Whatever it is, I like it.

Pours into a mug a clear rich bronze with a half finger clingy slight off white head atop, nice clarity and head to the pour.Aromas of toffee and bready malts, some fruity esters come thru more as it sits longer.Flavors start out bready with mild sweetness coming from toffee notes, then a big earthiness comes in late and lingers for quite a bit after swallow."American Bitter" not sure what that is but this is a nice quaffable beer, more earthy and less fruity than most traditional of the style, still quite good.
