Look: It pours a brownish orange that is a bit cloudy. It has a tan head with very good head retention.
Smell: It has strong chocolate aromas. They remind me of nestle's quick chocolate powder. There is a sweet note behind everything with light vanilla and caramel.
Taste: It has chocolate flavors with a bit of nut. There is a sweetness in it with very low vanilla. There is a hint of roast in the background.
Feel: It has a medium light body that seems a bit watery.
Overall, it is an interesting beer with a thinner body that expected as well as less sweetness compared to many other beers with lactose.

16 ounce can - $4.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
05/23/22.
Appearance: Pours a medium brown appearance, some haze to it and a brief, smallish, off-white head.
Smell: A caramel-chocolate scent with light-leaning toasted, roasted notes and touches of fruitiness, herb.
Taste: Moderately sweet caramel and cocoa, a pervasive fruitiness and hints of vanilla, dried bitterish herb and toasted bread. A light lactose twang to it. Flavors feel washed out, thinned out.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-light carbonation.
Overall: While I wouldn't have wanted a heavy, thick, overly sweet, artificial-tasting iteration, this leans a little too light in its aspects for my liking.
