16 ounce can - $4.00 at Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.
10/30/25 0902.
Appearance: Pours a burnished gold body capped by an inch of off-white froth.
Smell: A gently biscuity, bready, vinous nose with touches of cubed melon, mild citrus, berries and curled wood shaving.
Taste: Biscuity, bready malts with a very thin veneer of blonde caramel sweetness. A bit floral and herbaceous. Tropical tones with a little grapefruit, muskmelon, berries and poplar wood with a small splash of Graševina. Medium degree of bitterness. A little pop of acidity as the herbaceousness turns a smidge grassy heading into the drying, bitterish finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Fairly solid.

Poured a dark orange-gold body with soapy head and lace down the glass. Aroma has notes of mild acidity and pine with hints of grapefruit. Smooth, light beer, it is bitter with a piney citrusy flavor along with some resin and floral notes that are balanced and finished nice and crisp.

Got this from dbrauneis as a gift. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 9/22/21. Pours fairly hazy golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, apricot, melon, mango, berry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Large sized pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky/resinous hops in the mouthfeel. Long drying resin finish, with mild astringency. Feels like Columbus and Amarillo hops; very vibrant and dank hop profile. Very classic tasting west coast style. No complaints.

Bright, fresh and vibrant in its hop display, a bolder than usual "green" character emits from Edmund's Oast fresh-hop IPA. Once though of as dead as it leaves the bine, these hops quickly see new life in the form of ale.
Pouring a lightly turbid gold, the soft glow of the ale catches the eye right before a creamy ivory froth tops the rim. A bountiful array of stone fruit, citrus, tropical, berry and greens decorate the nose while it's initial sip captures a sweet foundation of light honey, shortbread and a hint of cream candy.
But anything that resembles malt is soon overtaken by the hops as the middle palate is fruitful with orange, mango and apricot. As a backdrop of lemon, currant, grapefruit and nectarine each come to mind in a racy, nearly tart but also deep and robust fruit display, the overcast of fresh herbs provide a green tea, parsley and nearly minty sensation. Trending moderately bitter, the late taste is peppery with botanical grasses of hemp, spruce and fresh grass clippings.
Medium bodied and treading on the drier side of malty-dry, the beer shares a touch of "hazy" character while still remaining bitter, drying and more refreshing. A bitter and herbal finish is followed by hemp, leafy and peppery tea for a highly refreshing, crisp, yet off-clean overall impression.

Note: Bottom of the can marked as Strata
A: Pours a clear medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate apricot + peach + bright yellow + pale orange colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy sudsy foamy white head that reduces to a large patch of thick film covering a little more than 75% of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of tropical/mango + citrus/grapefruit + melon + tropical/passionfruit hops over the top of just shy of moderate aromas of biscuit + lightly toasted + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + lightly toasted + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of tropical/mango + citrus/grapefruit + melon + tropical/passionfruit hops which impart a light to moderate amount of lingering bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp upfront with a light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasant light crispness + lingering bitterness. Nice flavors and aromas from the Strata hops.
