We get it. You’re a Rogue and want the best armor gold can afford but still want to use that high Dexterity you’ve min/maxed into. People get killed if you miss your Steal rolls; it’s just part of dungeon-crawling life.
And we’re here for you, with a thick and moderately impenetrable black brew that has all the deep espresso, black chocolate and orange oleo-saccharum notes you’ve grown to love in our original brew, Leather Jacket, but now at double the strength.
Studded Leather Armor – for celebrating those times you got away with robbing a quasi-divine flying lizard of its precious metals and rocks with only a handful of second degree burns to speak of.

Canned 2/20/24; drank 3/26/24 @ Pickleball Pizza.
Black appearanace.
A rough pour yielded a HUGE dark tan head; frothy lacing remained.
Burning rubber, cream & chocolate notes in the nose. NOT appealing.
Creamy medium mouthfeel.
Burning rubber, chocolate & cream flavors; mild booze heat emerged as this warmed.
This can isn't old, so I can't blame that; all I can say this was undrinkable. Terrible.

Picked up a single at The Blue Door Bottleshop 12-8-22 for $5.50. Canned 11-7-22; consumed 6-28-23. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured deep reddish-brown a pretty good off-white head.
Nose is nice, giving notes of chocolate and espresso.
Taste is a large toasted and roasted malt base that gives notes of chocolate and espresso. Hopping is spot on giving a balanced finish.
Mouthfeel is medium to large bodied and very smooth.
Overall a nice scaled up version of Leather Jacket. Sometimes imperials come out too sweet but the brewing team nailed this down nicely!
