16 oz can from the Wall of Beer in Clemson, SC ($3.59).
This brewery produces dependable brews but I was dubious about how good this Apple cider doughnut would be. Too sweet? ... too spicy? ... No. it turns out to be another example of a good beer from E. OAST.
It's very good overall and has excellent, well balanced, harmonious flavor. The mouthfeel, however, seems harsh, but this is due, I think, to the acidity on my very sensitive tongue and apple cider sometimes produces the same effect.

16 oz can split 3 ways. Poured into a snifter. Pours a not-quite-clear light straw yellow with a rocky head. Aroma and flavor feature fresh apple cider and a light blonde ale base. Not much else going on - it's not obviously a donut beer, which is fine with me. Not really any acidity, but not super sweet either. Mouthfeel is a thin and prickly. Overall, it's all right, but ultimately fairly boring. YMMV.
