A late afternoon walk has gone longer than expected. As the sun sets and shadows shift, something (maybe it was there the whole time) is following, and suddenly it’s hard to imagine a worse time to have gotten Lost in the Forest.
Cloudy amber fumes of winter forest and citrus peel emerge from the depth of this burly IPA. The alchemy of hops and spruce tips have yielded something unexpected, something fierce yet ephemeral.
Hops: Chinook Cryo, Whole Leaf Centennial

It was an okay old school IPA. A little too medicinal tasting (if that's the spruce tips, I just didn't like them). I'll finish the four sixteen ouncers, but won't likely buy it again. Too many better choices around here.

Poured a seethru copper auburn-gold body with decent head and lace sheath down the glass. Aroma is old school with pine and citric (emphasis on the pine). Medium body, slightly sticky, little boozy heatedness with some oily resin and touch of acidity with herbal, dry finish.
